Day 1: Arrive at Paro – Transfer to Thimphu

Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be welcomed by our professional tour guide. Transfer to Thimphu. Stop for tea and snacks at a local café. Visit Tachong Lhakang (Iron Bridge), a small temple en route. Upon arrival in Thimphu, check into your hotel for an overnight stay. Overnight stay: Thimphu.

Day 2: Thimphu Tour & Transfer to Punakha

Visit Buddha Dordenma, one of the largest statues of Buddha in the world, and enjoy panoramic views of Thimphu. Head to the National Memorial Chorten, a stupa built in honor of King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. After lunch, transfer from Thimphu to Punakha (72 km, 3 hours). Stop at Dochula Pass, known for stunning views of the Himalayas and the Druk Wangyal Chorten. Visit Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple, accessible via a scenic walk through paddy fields. Day 3: Punakha Tour & Transfer to Paro

Day 4: Tiger’s Nest Monastery Hike

For those not up for the full hike, a shorter walk to the viewpoint is available with magnificent views of the monastery. Enjoy lunch at the Taktsang Cafeteria halfway up the hike.
